Addicted to Gossip Girls

Wow, is all I can say about this new show. I missed the first episode but was able to watch it on Sunday. After that I just had to program my satellite to record episode two on Tuesday. Of course I already watched it and it’s an amazing show.

No seriously….it really is THAT GOOD! I think it may even be better than The O.C. I’m looking forward to watching the upcoming episodes. Did any of you watch it? What do you think?

Btw, if you’re looking for episode recaps or missed an episode, you can find the video links to youtube on Gossip Girl Chat.

New Tv Shows On Tonight + Heroes Returns!!

There’s two new tv series premiering tonight - Journeyman and Chuck.

Journeyman: This is NBC’s description of the show.

Dan Vasser thought he had it all: a loving wife, a great son and a steady job. But life suddenly throws him a curve ball. Dan finds himself traveling into the past with a purpose — impacting people’s lives for the better — and sometimes the worse. While doing so, Dan reconnects with Livia Beale, his ex-fiancée, whom he lost in a mysterious plane crash. Now armed with the knowledge of the present, will he be able to save her? What would that mean to his own future? And how would it change a man who thought he had it all?

Sounds interesting enough which is why I’ll be checking it out tonight at 10/9c after Heroes on NBC.

Chuck: This is NBC’s description of the show.

Chuck Bartowski — a computer geek who is catapulted into a new career as the government’s most vital secret agent. When Chuck opens an e-mail subliminally encoded with government secrets, he unwittingly downloads an entire server of sensitive data into his brain. Now, the fate of the world lies in the unlikely hands of a guy who works at a Buy More Electronics store. Instead of fighting computer viruses, he must now confront assassins and international terrorists.

Now this show really seems promising which is why I am totally checking it out tonight. It premieres at 8/7c on NBC. You can also catch the encore presentation on Saturday, Sept. 29, 9/8c.

To top off the end of this post, this is just a friendly reminder that NBC’s hit tv show Heroes is returning tonight at 9/8c. Woot!!!

So don’t forget all these amazing shows are on tonight. You’ll probably need two television sets running so you can record them unless you have a system that allows you to record more than one show. *lucky for me* Have a great night!!

The Simpsons Season 19 Tonight!!

The Simpsons are going into their 19th season. Wow, I still can’t believe it’s been that long. It feels just like yesterday when I first started watching them on tv. Crazy how time flies. They just keep getting better and better too.

The first episode of season 19 premieres tonight at 8 p.m. on Fox. The episode is called “He Loves to Fly and He D’oh’s”. Here’s a little caption from wikipedia about the episode:

Homer gets to fly in Mr. Burns’s private jet and likes it so much that he decides to never fly the old way again. Homer decides to find a job that involves flying in a corporate jet, and hires a life coach to assist him.

Of course it’s going to be hilarious since The Simpsons never falls short of humour. Plus, Lionel Richie and Stephen Colbert guest star in today’s episode. Don’t forget to watch it tonight at 8 p.m. on Fox.

Mary J. Blige new album!

If you haven’t heard yet, Mary J. Blige has a new album coming out soon. It’s called Growing Pains and will be released on November 20, 2007. There’s speculation that her song called “Grown Woman Complex” which appeared at the end of the HBO series Entourage, is to be included in the album.

Apparently Mariah Carey is releasing her new album on the same date. Battle of the divas…who will get more sales? My money’s on Mary J. Blige hands down. She always comes up with clever material and meaningful songs. I just find Mariah’s songs too “produced” and it’s like she can’t have a good song without featuring someone else. Go Mary. J Blige!!

Survivor does it again!

Survivor China has finally aired. I’ve been wanting to see this ever since I heard about it during the summer. I absolutely love how they’re not on some remote island in the tropicals. It was getting pretty repetitive before.

China of course has a long history and a wonderful culture. I have already seen it being incorporated with the show which is just great! As far as the contestants in the show, they are alright. I think that wrestler girl needs to go since she doesn’t do anything! I can’t understand why the voted that guy “Chicken” off first when he was doing a lot of the work. My favourite tribe at this point is the Fei Long which means Flying Dragon. They just work great together and you see it pay off in the competitions.

Catch Survivor on Thursday nights at 8 p.m.
